Our friends at FanDuel were prepared for Aaron Rodgers to head to the Jets — as we all were.
Enough so that, on Wednesday, users in New York and New Jersey saw an entire subheadline titled “Jets” after Rodgers announced his intention to sign with the franchise.
Rodgers made the announcement on The Pat McAfee Show. It appears the only things ensnaring the process are operational — how much his extension will be, what permissions he’ll be granted on facility and outside of it, which players and staff will join him in the Meadowlands and so forth.
Here are the lines that are under the subheadline “Jets,” which is located for users on the home page next to “WBC.”
Aaron Rodgers Over/Under 4000 passing yards
FanDuel is pricing Rodgers’ total on passing yards at 4,000. He’s done so in 10 of his 15 seasons. Rodgers missed this mark last season, however, by over 300 yards, despite the extra 17th game.
Before the 2022 season, he had thrown for at least 4,000 yards in five of six seasons — with the other having been due to injury.
Garrett Wilson to score 10+ touchdowns in the regular season
Wilson figures to be Rodgers’ new No. 1 target — and the market is bullish on his potential after a lights out rookie year with a rotating cast of below-average quarterbacks.
For a +125 price, FanDuel is setting Wilson’s TD over at 9.5.
Jets to Score 1+ TDs in Every Regular Season Game
FanDuel has this prop listed at +150. The Jets, of course, failed mightily in this category last season. The Packers, meanwhile, scored a TD in every game last season despite a lackluster year.
Jets to Make Playoffs, Packers to Miss Playoffs
It’ll be Jordan Love’s time in Green Bay, and while he’s showed some flashes while subbing in for Rodgers, his true ability is a complete question mark. So this line is inherently speculative.
