Ruthless Stephen Curry Baffles NBA World After Humiliating “Family” on Live TV


The Golden State Warriors went off to a flier start at the Monday night game against the Phoenix Suns. Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson dominated the court with a series of three-point buckets for a massive lead in the first quarter. However, a particular Stephen Curry bucket in the first quarter caught the fans’ attention. Fans flooded the social media comments section claiming that Chef disrespected his own family on National television.

The Dubs superstar’s brother Seth Curry currently plays for the Brooklyn Nets and has made a promising career for himself. However, the Monday night game’s disrespect fell on Curry’s brother-in-law, Damian Lee. Lee married Curry’s younger sister, Sydel Curry in 2018. After a four-season-long career with the Dubs, he moved to the Suns in the current season.

In the first quarter of Monday night’s game, Stephen Curry ran up against Damian Lee to the 3-point line after the turnover. Curry pushed defending Lee back with his shoulder and dropped a turnaround three-pointer. Following the bucket, the crowd burst into a huge cheer, adding salt to Lee’s injury. Over the years, Curry has built a reputation for his seamless three-point shooting skills. Especially, the turnaround three-pointers which leave the audience in utter disbelief because of his unreal accuracy and confidence in his ability. However, the video clip of the disrespectful bucket surfaced on Twitter, garnering reactions from a lot of fans.

At the end of the first quarter, The Splash Brothers scored more points than the Suns as the Warriors finished 43-21. Klay Thompson dropped 18 points, which included three 3-pointers, and Curry dropped 12 points. However, it’s too early to write off the Suns, as their star performers Devin Booker and Chris Paul could turn the game around within a span of a quarter. Currently, the Dubs are the sixth seed of the Western Conference with a 35-33 record. The team would translate their home game winning streak to their poor away games to stay alive in the playoffs run.
